A delegation of Maine officials and executives returned from a European trip this week in which Gov. Baldacci and the rest of the delegation toured renewable energy facilities and met with renewable energy developers.

The State of California’s air regulators approved a first-of-its-kind carbon fee on 350 California-based utilities, oil refineries, power plants, raw material sourcing, and other greenhouse gas polluting companies.

This week’s G-20 Summit meeting in Pittsburgh has seen a lot of rhetoric pertaining to greenhouses gases, carbon emissions, and alternative energies.
